Changing Classes/Days

Please see reception to discuss your options. We currently run lessons Monday through Saturdays. Our class timetable can change throughout the year as classes move up or additional classes are added to the schedule. If you are interested in a specific day or time please let our staff now. During our very busy periods it can be difficult to find space in certain classes or time slots. Our staff are happy to put you on a waitlist for a class of your choosing. Please check in with office staff frequently to see if there have been any changes to waitlists or schedules. If you no longer require a lesson time, please let our staff know so they can open up the waitlist for other swimmers.

Moving Swimmers up to the Next Level

Our instructors and supervisors are constantly assessing swimmers within their lesson times. We do not have a formal assessment week or time for graduation. We do not hold swimmers back if they are ready to advance to the next level. Graduation to the next level of swimming can happen anytime throughout a child’s learn to swim journey.

If your child is ready to move up to the next level, you will be contacted to discuss your options and arrange changes to your booking.
Our class schedules are constantly changing. There are many factors that affect class schedules: teacher availability, enrolment numbers, swimmers' ability, daylight savings, pool space and more.

As your child progresses through the program they may not be able to keep their same lesson time. Please be patient with our office staff – they have over 1000 swimmers to place, shuffle, move up or around on any given day. If you would like to be placed onto a waitlist for a different time, please let our staff know.

Swimming Attire for Lessons

  • Parents are required to wear a T-shirt over swimwear in the Under 4 program. This will assist in developing independent gripping which is an important safety skill. Please ensure your swimwear is family friendly.
  • Younger swimmers should wear swimming nappies
  • Older swimmers should wear comfortable swim attire that allows plenty of movement in the water.
  • Goggles are not encouraged until swimmers are completely confident in the water. Swimmers should swim part of every lesson without goggles for safety purposes.

Photography

You are welcome to take photos of your child only, however it is a requirement that you gain permission from management before doing so for safety reasons. There are absolutely no photos to be taken inside the change rooms at any time.
