2025/2026 Membership Open on Swim Central
Swimming is Australia's favourite sport, and Lawrence Swim Club (LSC) offers a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to get introduced to racing, improve their personal best times, and participate in competitive events throughout the region.

Club Nights & Events
Club Night Registrations
There's a cut-off for Club Night registrations: swimmers must register by Monday 11:55 PM before the event.
Club Nights
Club Nights are held at LLSS Burleigh on the first Wednesday of each month, starting in September and running until May.
External Competitive Events
External competitive events can be found in the Events Calendar within Swim Central. LSC is part of the Swimming Gold Coast Region with all SGC events in the attached calendar (subject to change)
Swimming QLD Events
Swimming QLD events generally have entry fees and ticketing fees. Entry fees for individual events range from $16 to $21 (with late entry fees potentially higher), while spectator tickets are typically around $7.50 online and $8.50 at the gate
New Members & Free Trials
New members are welcome to enjoy a free trial at one of our Club Nights. To sign up for a free trial:
- 1Follow the same steps as if you were "purchasing" a membership (see "How to Purchase a Membership" below).
- 2Select the "Come 'n Try Swimmer" membership.
- 3Only add this to your cart when the Club Night goes live and you are ready to attend.
The Come 'n Try trial automatically expires after 30 days. Come 'n Try swimmers will still need to register via Swim Central for events at Club Night.
Important Membership Dates & Details (2025-2026)
- New 2025-2026 memberships commence on June 1, 2025, and are valid through June 30, 2026.
- Swimming Australia and Swimming Queensland have made changes to their membership structures for the 2025-2026 season.
- A parent/guardian must hold a FREE "Parent / Supporter" membership with Lawrence Swim Club. This is mandatory for committee members.
- The official membership season runs from July 1st to June 30th.
Membership Categories & Definitions
We are pleased to offer the following membership categories for the 2025-2026 season. These are our recommended memberships.
Competitive Swimmer 8 and Over (Recommended):
- Can compete in: Club, Region, State, Interstate, National, and International events.
- For swimmers aged 8 & Over, covering all competition tiers.
Recreational Swimmer (Club Night Only):
- Can compete in: Club Only (e.g., club nights).
- For swimmers who only participate within their club's environment.
Junior Swimmer - Under 8yrs:
- Can compete in: Club and QLD Region events only.
- A junior competitive membership for swimmers aged, designed for those beginning their competitive journey within Queensland only.
Other Memberships
Late Season Swimmer
Can compete in: Club, Region, Interstate, and State events.
A 6-month competitive membership beginning January 1st, for swimmers aged 8 & Over.
Second claim Swimmer
Can compete in: Club Only.
A secondary membership allowing current Competitive Swimmers to join an additional club, with participation limited to that club.
BCome 'n Try Swimmer
Can compete in: Club Only.
A 30-day trial membership for new swimmers to experience intra-club activities (e.g., training and club nights). Automatically expires after 30 days.
Licenced Coach
Allows coaches to be officially recognised.
Accredited Technical OfficiaL
Allows officials to be officially recognised.
Parent / Supporte
A free membership for parents/supporters. Mandatory for committee members

Swim Central: Your National Operating System
Swim Central is the national online portal that connects you with your swimming club, region, Swimming Queensland, and Swimming Australia. It's essential for purchasing your Lawrence Swim Club membership and registering for external events.
New to Swim Central?
A parent/guardian needs to register using a unique email address. Everyone under 18 years of age is added to a parent's family group as a dependent.
How to Purchase a Membership
- Sign into Swim Central or Register for a New Account
- Select and unlock the padlock by entering your family pin
- From the menu option select "Store", select "Memberships"
- Type Lawrence Swim Club, in Find A Club Field
- Select the member’s name and the relevant membership product
- Remember to change the name of the person you are purchasing for when adding additional products to your cart
- Checkout, click T&C and continue to Payment Method
- You must proceed to payment even for a FREE product
How to Enter a Meet/Club Night in Swim Central
Sign into Swim Central
Select and unlock the padlock by entering your family pin
Select Events, select a date from the calendar, view event
Select Entries tab to navigate to list of eligible entries
Add Entries for all available swimmers
Check shopping cart and proceed to payment
